BIOGRAPHY

Drawing on his extensive experience as a Trusts and Estates Attorney, Ryan is deeply committed to assisting individuals and families in proactively preparing for the future. Ryan focuses on crafting personalized and thorough estate plans that assure his clients that their wishes will be honored. Ryan is dedicated to navigating clients through the intricacies of estate planning, ensuring the safeguarding of their assets for generations to come.

Through a compassionate and meticulous approach, Ryan collaborates closely with each client as well as experts specializing in financial planning, wealth management, cryptocurrency, real estate, and insurance to develop custom-tailored estate plans that reflect each client’s distinct needs and aspirations.

Before embarking on his career, Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a concentration in Death and Dying from the College of Charleston. He then went on to obtain his Juris Doctorate degree from Elon University School of Law in North Carolina.

In addition to being recognized as one of The Best Lawyers in America® for 2023-2025, for his work in Estates and Trusts, some of Ryan’s achievements include:

When not working, Ryan is active in the local community and currently serves as the Vice President of the Board of Directors of Medical Homes Plus, a non-profit organization that helps families of children with special needs find resources and assistance, including Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) services in conjunction with local school districts. When not working or volunteering, Ryan enjoys golfing, relaxing by the James River, and spending time with his husband, Alec, and their two dogs Weezy and Angelo.
