BIOGRAPHY

Kelly Boppe Strachan graduated magna cum laude from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2023. While in law school, Kelly participated in the Aging and Disability Law Practicum, where she aided indigent adults in preparing their wills, powers of attorney, and advanced medical directives. Kelly also served as a student advocate for the Wrongful Conviction Clinic, where her efforts led to a clemency grant, and led the University of Richmond Law Review as Symposium Editor. Following graduation, Kelly worked as an Associate Attorney at Venable LLP for two years, where her practice focused on a broad range of litigation, transactional, and regulatory work. Kelly is known for her attention to detail, client relationships, and thoughtful analysis of issues relevant to clients' specific goals and ambitions. Kelly is eager to work directly with clients where she can aid individuals and families in determining the best estate planning approach for their unique situations. 

A lifelong Virginia resident, Kelly attended Virginia Tech for her undergraduate education and spent time interning in the Chesterfield County Circuit Courts, as well as working as a paralegal at a small firm in southwestern Virginia prior to law school. When she is not working, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, Kobe, and cat, Goose, exploring the Richmond area; hiking; reading; and gardening in her backyard. scene, reading, exercising, and spending time with her boyfriend, Chase, and their dog, Toby.
